Gardener, maker, story gamer, TESOL educator. EN/JP. I'm academically interested in spoken language development, peer interaction, analog games, oral storytelling, and the intersection of those things = learning through collaborative storytelling games.

The garden progresses!
Potatoes and burdock are growing well. Just cleared five of my large piles of cut grass which gave me perfect small spaces of bare earth to plant out my cucumbers and pumpkins.
Next I need to get the nightshades in.

There's a silly grammar problem about John had had had had something or the other. It's totally implausible in actual communication, but amusing as a grammatical thought experiment.
I'm too lazy to look up the actual sentence.
Similar to the Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo sentence.

Plotting out the beds, building the trellises, sowing the first round of seeds, getting starts growing in the green house for later transplants, assembling the hugels, mulching and laying cat deterrent sticks.
There is much glorious labor ahead. Mindfulness and exercise, connection and purpose.
Getting the garden ready feels wonderful. Materials assembled: trimmed branches for poles and trellises, rotting wood and ant nesty logs for hugelkultur, dried grass and and weeds raked for mulch. Compost pile turned. Seed trays ready and seeds selected.
Next steps are many ...
Likewise, except with zotero in libreoffice. Open source, community supported libre software for freedom and not feeding the rich.
Zotero is going strong It is now up to version 7.
So, now we have to talk about the things in such an erudite circumlocutory manner that the assholes don't realize we're still getting on with the same business, just over their heads?
Alas, if only it were so simple...
Not an insider, or a hirer, but one clear benefit is the view of a person as a social being from an outsiders perspective. That's a valuable perspective when hiring someone into a collegial group.
