I like how getting older is basically getting really excited about home appliances that work well and rediscovering that [snack/show/game/song/book] you were obsessed with as a kid.

It’s not like Hannibal Lecter was a REAL cannibal. He only ate PARTS of people. It’s not like he was eating ENTIRE people like a real cannibal does. Plus, a lot of those livers could have passed as animal livers. He wasn’t eating obvious people parts like faces. He was into the barely legal meat.

Milky Way to the left and red glow to the right above mountains with just a little snow on them in a very starry sky. I didn't use a star tracker and this was a 30 second exposure so some star trailing is visible.

So when the aurora borealis is faint enough, you can capture its glow with the Milky Way 😍
