In my opinion, Zelda is one of the best representations of a Trans character in modern medium. When I first found out Shiek was Zelda, I didn't question pronouns. I just saw a strong character that I absolutely fell in love with, and looking back, it's obvious that Shiek/Zelda is a Trans character.
