I did a little travelogue in pictures with my gameboy this year, and I collected all the photos in this blog post! It was a cute little project.

it was nice doing this because i don't really realize how much i travel until putting it all together. granted, most of my travelling is for conventions, so i dont really get to see the places i go to, but i can at least capture a bit of it in photos

yeah! we're so spoiled now, but seeing this at the time was like mind boggling

at the time, the only pokemon games i'd played were pixels so seeing a fully 3D rendered pokemon with a background like that really felt like a glimpse into the world.

now i'm playing ZA where you can wander a full 3D pokemon city hahaha

i didn't collect a lot of pokemon tcg cards as a kid, but i did open a handful of ruby/sapphire packs, and i'll always specifically remember this mightyena card.
