Lawsuit Takes On Musk Payment System Takeover on Privacy Grounds Giving DOGE access to the Treasury Department’s payment system violates the Privacy Act of 1974 and IRS statutes, three plaintiffs allege.

Right now, given the profiles in cowardice we see from Senate republicans, the strategy in Congress and in the private sector should be twofold: stop what we can, and slow the rest to a crawl. Lawsuits like this are a start.
