I actually wish the media would stop using "DEI" and "diversity hiring" and just get to the essence of the thing and ask:

"Are you saying that this crash was caused by desegregating the races?"

Saying something is "trolling" isn't sufficient for proving you don't believe what's being signified--typically, it's just so you can disavow it and avoid responsibility thru 'plausible deniability'; i.e., it's the cowardice of lacking the courage of your convictions.

One of my favorite courses to teach pre-pandemic was a Health and Society advanced rhetoric course. Really think some of the nursing, pre-med, psych, and humanities students who took it came away with some useful tools and insights that allowed them to see recent health controversies more clearly.
