This is the image for the Magic the Gathering Card "Rediscover the Way" It depicts Narset, surrounded by scrolls which unravel into the shape of the dragon Shiko. In the bottom of the image is Ojutai, about to battle Shiko. It is painted in the style of an Ancient Han Chinese Illuminated Manuscript and brushwork.

I woke up today to a landslide of emails about this piece. I'm so happy everyone loves it so much. 🙏

To quickly answer 2 common questions: This piece was done digitally. There is unfortunately no original to be had 😭

A cloak made up of swirling ghosts. One ghost has managed to extract itself for the moment, long enough to whisper in the wearer's ear.

A few years ago, I took a #SmARTSchool class, and one of the assignments was to draw a cursed item.
I came up with this: The Cloak of Souls.

I made a DnD page with a bit of background and rules for how to use it as a reward for Patrons a few years back, and decided to make it public!!
