Let me tell you taking public transit is complicated when you feel the stress of so many people around. I never understood my agoraphobia until pretty late.

Altman was the first to create fear around AI, like it "escaped" human understanding and became it's scary own thing.
It feels like marketing because it is marketing. And fear is one of the best ways to sell a product. "It's here to stay so adapt or die" is the slogan.
