At a meeting today in which we discussed and shared our favourite or most impactful protest songs. I realized, I think, that a Canadian protest song is more of a unifying song of defiant resilience, and less of a "stick it to the man" anthem, but I'd love to hear your opinions and song suggestions.

Feels like some real nice neighbours moved out and the people who bought the place are real jerks.

I introduced the kitten to the bird today. We were able to keep them separated for 1 month. Verdict: they are both mortally terrified of one another. I see this as a win.

I love Red River College so much that if it were a boy, he'd be totally weirded out.

We’re a little pressed for time between dinner and activities tonight, so I’m making some chicken nuggets for kids to eat in the car. Fine. But when they asked me what’s for dinner I replied, in my distracted state, “Road nuggets”. Rather less appealing.

Those houses are ideal. Good layout, multiple bedrooms, easy to maintain and clean, often have good deep basements that can be used to expand living space.

Me: Ugh, column for tomorrow is terrible.
Husband: Let me read it
Me: It's awful. Feels like I have no idea how to do this.
Husband: (reads column) So...it's literally about how you know how to do this, while showing how well you can do this.
Me: LIES! LIES!
