I need to rectify a miscalculation on Peri’s age when Timmy left. I thought Peri’s birthday was in April, which would have made him 7 and a half, but it was in February. Peri would have just turned 8 a month before Timmy left in 2009.

Hmm…you know, maybe it’s just different for everyone of what’s ruining it. Just a thought though.

Overall, as much as I love fandom history, I really do need a better relationship with it. Right now I don’t consider myself part of any fandom and I feel a lot safer that way. No more stupid beef, no more mob mentality, no more hypocritical people blowing things out of proportion/isolating you.

I do feel a lot of that is my fault, so it makes it hard for me to tell what the real underlying issues with fandom are. Though now that I’m writing this, maybe putting together a map of the last 10 years would help us see the bigger picture? But I won’t hold my breath.

Separate from the other thread, much like everyone I do feel fandom just went down hill, though my desire to find the definitive answer for why might never come nor satisfy me.
It doesn’t help that I used fandom as a crutch from my real life for years.

A resource like that would be so valuable today, but because of FOSTA-SESTA and the nsfw ban (which tagged a lot of sex ed posts as nsfw) they got completely wiped out. That ended up pissing me off more. As unmoderated as Tumblr was, it did provide great resource and discussion for LGBT-

(which I always wondered where that came from) but it really was Tumblr that ultimately shot themselves in the foot for how un-moderated it was. However, it did have devastating affects on trans sex education, which a lot of people relied on for all sorts of things.

Taking down my post on FOSTA-SESTA because it’s very misinformed and misleading. The truth is I was wondering if FOSTA-SESTA affected the state of Fandom today through Tumblr, but that’s not really the case. Yes FOSTA-SESTA did cause Tumblr to implement the safe mode feature-

Honestly even though I know a lot better now, the PTSD I’ve gotten from figuring out nsfw with little to no guidance is why I can’t bring myself to start a new alt. I’d have to overcome my trauma first if I’m to come back to running alts.

Also I know it makes more sense to have Chester be a baseball player because of his father, but I think he’d be better as Steve Irwin since he grew up taking care of wild animals. Like I think all of that would be enough for Chester’s character honestly. Simple but meaningful.

The more I think about it, Chester maybe would grow up to be very wise and appreciative, because despite living in poverty, he was content with his life. He was thankful for what he had because of Timmy. Timmy was the grew that kept him and AJ together.

It is, but it’s also why I think it be perfect for an unfiction series. (aka digital horror)
People playing telephone twists the story more and more, and you find out the start of it wasn’t even true or was just great exaggerated.

Part of the reason I’m asking about fandom suicides is bc I nearly did that last year and maybe would like to make a story (maybe unfiction type) about this issue. How these places can be so vulnerable, but also how easy it is to twist the narrative.

Genuine question, but has anyone ever been pushed into suicide in fandom before?
