I really enjoyed this interview with @bright-green.bsky.social - if you've not voted in the @greenparty.org.uk Deputy Leader election yet, give it a watch and then #RankAlexFirst.

No - doing so while Putin is waging a war of aggression in Europe would be a big failure.

What amount of “cutting through” will change this kind of reporting?

The answer is none. We must organise on the ground to win. #RankAlexFirst

I was cancelled for staying this at the LGBTIQA+ Greens Deputy Leader husting after-chat, but I can’t keep quiet any longer: Biscoff is the worst biscuit and it’s spreading to everything is a sign of the end times.

Proud to be a member of the only party to universally vote against the ridiculous proscription of Palestine Action.

"No other party can sell radical, progressive policies to such a wide range of voters as we can" ...

"keep our distinctive Green identity"...

Vote for Ellie and Adrian.

This makes me exceptionally angry. It’s not enough to want make us debase ourselves to engage in public life - nah, they want us to just stop us having a public life at all.

If you're unsure who to vote for - the rules say I can't endorse anyone.

Is the Green Party succeeding too slowly? Not from where I’m sitting! 'The strategy we’ve been using has achieved huge results, and in many areas has done this from what was practically a standing start.'

Voters need to trust you will make their lives better, and in First Past The Post, **believe you can win**. In return we get to implement our radical, but necessary, policy platform. @elliechowns.bsky.social and @adrianramsay.bsky.social get that, and that's why I'm backing them.

Knocking on doors, listening and acting and communicating directly is what earns votes. The important thing this articles talks about is "cutting through" is no good when what you cut through with - "eat the rich", etc, puts voters off.

If the Greens in Germany move towards the centre, they can become a real force again | Katja Hoyer Four years ago, the party was the most popular in the country – but old rifts have fractured it again. Now the time is ripe for a reset, says historian and journalist Katja Hoyer

This framing is wrong - it's not about centre-ism or not. The advantage of the Green Party is that environmentalism cuts across the political spectrum. Social justice naturally flows from that environmentalism, because climate breakdown impacts those with the least, the most.

£20 billion a year is handed to private landlords in housing benefit to house people on housing benefit. Billions of pounds a year handed straight to private citizens. Where was your action on that?

This is horrific and must be defeated. Trans rights are human rights.

Your job's to create homes, not homeless people.

44 Labour MPs are landlords and @rushanaraalibgs.bsky.social is not the first MP to be found mistreating tenants.

Forced eviction and rent hikes.
Labour, Tories, Reform, they're all the same - profiteers.

News media and social media aren't interested in platforming Green voices and addressing the climate emergency. They only care about clicks, engagement and the division that drives it. We have to tell our story directly to people, on the doorstep. #RankAlexFirst for Green Party Deputy Leader.
