Okemos freshman Saisha Patil has two rounds of minus-5 this month!
She shot 66 on Sept. 8 at Eldorado Golf Course in the Holt Invitational, and on Monday (9/22) a 67 at Forest Akers East at the Capital Area Activities Conference Open!
Saisha is coached by Dan Stolz.
Lakeview senior Molly Gray hit a perfect pitching wedge on the 94-yard No. 15 at Tullymore Golf Club in Stanwood on Tuesday (9/2/25).
Molly shot 113 on the day. She is coached by Brian and Katrina Corwin.

East Lansing sophomore Addy Louagie saved her best swing for last at today's CAAC Jamboree at Eldorado GC in Mason.
Her 7-iron swing on her final hole of the day (the 128-yard third hole) was absolutely perfect! Addy is coached by Bob Filter.

Coach Kevin Robinson's Charlotte Orioles won their first league title in 40 years!
Senior Reid Blasius was the Capital Area Activities Conference White Division's overall medalist while junior Noah Robinson was second overall. Junior Peyton Edick also earned all-league.
The Sandusky Wolves won their 5th consecutive league championship this year, capturing the Big Thumb Conference Black Division after a recent league expansion.

The MIGCA has selected 4 graduating seniors to each receive a $1,000 scholarship award from our membership.
Recipients are Nyla Joseph and Jayda Lukas, both of Detroit Cass Tech, along with Josephine Boldt of Stevensville Lakeshore and Lucy Deady of Plymouth Canton.

The Howell Highlanders captured their first-ever Kensington Lakes Activities Association championship this year!
Coach Jeff Hughey's team had seven top 3 tournament finishes, and were 8th at the Division 1 State Finals - their best Finals finish in school history.
Essexville Garber won the Tri-Valley Conference last spring before capping off its season with a 4th place finish in the Division 3 Finals!
The Dukes are coached by Jake Coquillard.

In just their 2nd year in the Central Michigan Athletic Conference, Coach Jason Block's Lansing Christian Pilgrims clinched the league title at Forest Akers East GC shooting a 340 in the conference tournament; it was the teamβs best score of the year.

Joe Ewald of Chelsea is our 2025 Division 2 Boys Coach of the Year.
Joe has coached boys golf at Chelsea 23 years, and will start his 11th season with the girls this fall.
The 2025 Chelsea boys had of the most-successful seasons in school history. Congratulations, Coach Ewald!
Doug Drenth of Charlevoix is our 2025 Division 3 Coach of the Year.
Drenth was driving the school van with 7 students when it sustained a head-on collision. Coach Drenth's actions behind the wheel are credited with potentially saving the lives of the young men in his care.
Traverse City West won its second consecutive Big North Conference title with victories in all 7 league events. The Titans shot 281 and 282 at league events at Cadillac Country Club and the TreeTops Smith Tradition course, respectively.

The Saline Hornets capped off a 13-0 regular season with their 2nd straight SEC championship!
In SEC play, the Hornets twice shot team scores under 150 (148 and 149) - the team's 6th and 7th best scores in school history, and the lowest since 2009!

Clarkston Everest Collegiate captured its fourth consecutive Catholic High School League Intercollegiate league championship this spring.
They also won their third consecutive Division 4 State Championship!

Coach Jay Dearing's Shepherd Blue Jays won four of six league matches on their way to capturing the Jack Pine Conference championship this spring.

Kalamazoo Christian won its first league title in six years, which was especially sweet, says Coach Brian Seifert, as they bested their friendly crosstown rivals Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic Prep.

Coach Scott Volkmann's Muskegon Mona Shores Sailors won their 8th consecutive conference title this year, capturing the OK Green Division title.

The Hudsonville Unity Christian Crusaders, coached by Dave DeMey, captured their third consecutive OK Conference championship this year. This is their first year winning the Black Division title after back-to-back Blue Division titles.

Cooper Reitsma of Grand Rapids Christian was a birdie machine during the spring!
And watch out in 2026, as Cooper will likely build on his birdie resume as he returns for his senior year next spring!

Julian Sinishtaj of Warren De La Salle had the Lower Peninsula's best par 4 average among golfers with at least 15 9-hole rounds!

Last spring the Onsted boys golf team secured its first Lenawee County Athletic Association title since 2019.
Congratulations to the Wildcats! They are coached by Brad Maska.

Our 2025 Coach of the Year/ Hall of Fame Banquet and Coaches Clinic is fast approaching.
This special event is scheduled for August 5-6 at PohlCat Golf Course in Mt. Pleasant.

Maple City Glen Lake's Michael Houtteman led Lower Peninsula golfers in scoring average this year! He is coached by his father, Lee Houtteman.
