The Scathach
One of the characters from my personal project who was inspired by a figure from Scottish Bronze Age mythology.
On an aside, I'm currently wondering why I do art because, thanks to ai, I no longer have an audience for it. I love doing art but in those self-excoriating moments of struggle when it's going badly, I wonder.

One the most complex, and humbling, images I have tackled as an illustrator - Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.
I was commissioned for this after Kieth Parkinson requested that I be contacted to execute this work for a company he helped create, Sigil Games. Keith could not do the work himself...
I rarely talk about personal stuff on here, but I recently removed myself from an unsafe situation, and am currently trying to recover financially.
I am putting it out there that I'm available for work either as an artist or art director. If anyone is interested please get in touch! β€οΈ

You have a poison in your mind, and the fact that you can't see it makes me so sad.

Still can't copyright AI outputs, sorry.
The good news is you can still copyright art you make yourself! Try it!
"Thaler's lawyers told the Supreme Court in a filing that his case was of "paramount importance" considering the βrapid rise of generative AI."

Donβt give them an inch.
They wonβt be happy until weβre all dependent on AI, and far dumber and unskilled as a result.
If anyone is curious about the story, see the blog about it on my website

AMC says NO to forcing you to watch AI shorts ahead of the human-made movie you paid to see.
Heavy Metal also promises that the HM magazine you paid for contains art made by people.

Today, February 20th, is a significant date for ancient things.
On this day, in the mists of the distant past, I was born. And today Iβm launching a new book of portraits of even older creatures!
All the details are below. (1/2) #SciArt
Happy Birthday! And good luck with the new book! π€

Predating my Earth and Sea series, but tapping into the tragic, fragile narratives learned from Vincent Desiderio while working as his assist. in the mid 90's.
Executed as a center panel of a triptych private commission for Jane and Howard Frank in 2001.

15.02.2026 16:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's just some prints for now and there's a token fee to cover postage and packing - Β£5 for UK Β£10 for everywhere else - so not completely free. I thought about doing that and putting in a kofi link but people might just take advantage. Maybe later...
