“The complexity of girlhood” made by me Lipstick blotting in three different colours covering the paper
Bright red - growing up too fast in order to survive one's environment. Black - the darkest times in one's life, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and overall struggles with mental health as a result of extreme trauma and abuse. Maroon/brown - maturing and no longer romanticising adulthood, it's too late to have a childhood, leaving one forever yearning for what could have been.
