The best explanation here is: they know much of the American economy is more collusive than competitive, so consumers generally won't have a choice anyway.
This explanation is ridiculous yet likely true. Millions of people did not conceptualize Trump the way we do (e.g., "bad person who did a bad job and wants to do bad things like X, Y, Z") but rather as a TV character, an avatar of prosperity who would somehow bless them economically.

Guvernul se pierde-n definiția „meritului școlar” (pe care puțini dintre membrii săi l-au atins, vreodată, sub orice sens) în loc să ofere date despre impactul burselor asupra abandonului școlar și capitalului uman. Populism bugetar și incompetență crasă.
Pentru că mă întrebați: tăierea burselor elevilor eludează orice analiză cost-beneficiu, contrazice economia elementară, subminează logica instrumentală și ignoră empatia normativă. Curat lovitură de „geniu” mioritic: generează ε la buget, provocând simultan daune sociale majore.
