The good news: I got promoted!
The bad news: I had to drop two of my D&D games because of it.

I also keep records of the NPCs we meet and all the gold and loot we find. Everyone's pretty good at tracking their own stuff but I like having a record in case we need it.

I'm starting to think maybe I take too many notes during D&D. One of our players missed our session Saturday and I said I'd share my notes with her. I sent her a 1500 word summary of the session that was four pages long. She was surprised and pleased but maybe that was too much?

Fair. Definitely take some time to think about it and talk to other writers. I hope you can find the best avenue that works for you.

I've seen a lot of writers jump ship to Threads. I don't know that it will help but it couldn't hurt. (I myself am notoriously terrible at marketing myself on social media so any advice given is entirely theoretical)

Agreed. I like some of the weirder stuff like vampires having to count things or people turning into vampires after death because they were fucking around with magic in life. Oh and not casting a reflection. Which I have used that one (and the magic one) and both are fun to play with.

It could be really bad for Discord if Californians contact the office of the Attorney General to report the potential violations of CCPA and CALOPPA citing the recent breach from a few months back where 1.5tb of user data and millions of IDs were leaked, but who can say for sure?

I started doing art embroidery last year because my headphones decided to flake vinyl into my mouth. I thought, why not do something incredible that I've always wanted to try? Now I'm doing a larger piece to be framed in a shadowbox.
