I believe this is only the beginning of the economic impact of Trumpenomics.

Dear America,
If you wanted to know what happens when you kick out your migrant workforce, you should have looked at what happened to Britain after Brexit...

⚡️ Ukraine’s top officials say lasting peace is only possible with full respect for Ukraine’s sovereignty, no recognition of occupation, and a complete end to Russian aggression—after talks in the UK with UK FM David Lammy and US VP JD Vance.

Barbara Lee - Wikipedia

I am running through this year's elections...

Did you know that Progressive Democrat Barbara Lee became the first African American woman to be Mayor of Oakland in May?

The Boston mayoral election this year is a landslide.

Michelle Wu is fantastic. No notes.

2025 Jersey City mayoral election - Wikipedia

So this is an interesting election... despite having most of the endorsements, and being a former governor, Jim McGreevey is polling at only 32% according to the one poll that has been done so far.

Yet another case where ranked voting would be useful, like the gubernatorial election.

Starmer is the worst Labour prime minister in history. He is consistently siding with Trump and Russia over Ukraine and Europe.

Which given how he supports Brexit as a member of Labour... is not really that surprising...

So I am hopeful that both Katie Wilson and Zohran Mamdani will lead these two cities to make major improvement without the issues of the last 30 years.

Then you have Bruce Harrell in Seattle who is a NIMBY mayor on housing but has been better on improving sidewalks and bike lanes. So he's ok overall, not great, not awful.

Eric Adams... do I even need to elaborate?

So, the period when Norm Rice was mayor of Seattle and David Dinkins of New York was the last time there were decent mayors in both of these cities. Then you have Giuliani and Bloomberg, who were awful in NYC, and Bill de Blasio was fine, but Murray and Durkan were both bad mayors in Seattle.

There are two possible reasons this is happening. Either Americans are disillusioned by Trump, leading to a surge in votes for New Deal Democrats... but why wouldn't that have happened in 2021?

What is actually happening is Joe Biden killed his caucus and people are running away from New Democrats.

Katie Wilson Cracks 50 Percent of the Vote With only 96,000 votes left to count in King County, Seattle mayoral candidate Katie Wilson has hit 50.15 percent of the vote. Mayor Bruce Harrell is now at 41.70 percent. Almost ten points behind. As...

Both Seattle and New York could have decent mayors AT THE SAME TIME.

This has not happened in my life.

I was in Seattle politics briefly and became completely disillusioned by that city. I'm pleased and surprised Katie Wilson is winning.

Insurance is one of those things you just can't bullshit or fake, as authoritarians try to do with many other things via control of information.

Losses are losses, and when they're bigger than expected, the firms go broke

Are Americans aware that down here in Mexico we’ve been getting bombarded for months with ads of Kristi Noem telling us to our face that we’re out welcome in the US, and that these ads even found their way into our national TV broadcasts

Because I feel like I have seen nobody mention it

Another test I like to use is whether the presidential candidate saw larger than normal swings compared to down ballot candidates in some places versus others.

I have not found any.

I also don’t give a damn what Elon Musk says. He’s a con artist.

As opposed to our election where all the swings were well within a standard deviation.

Compare this to the election in the country of Georgia last year which had obvious election fraud, gaps in polls and results, random large swings, the statistical likelihood Georgia’s election was fair is 0.

When detecting fraud, I look for very larger swings in the suspect compared to a control. I look for wider than normal gaps between exit polls and the official results. I look for gaps between opinion polls and official results.

All of these tests show the results last year were normal.

So even without voting machines, we see a 5 point drop in California, 1 point drop each in Colorado, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin, and only a 2 point drop in Michigan.

Comparing all mail states in the west to swing states in the Midwest yields no significant difference.

Harris got 2 million fewer votes than Biden did in California, and Trump got more votes in California than any other Republican in history. The highest % since 2004 for a Republican.

I don’t think we can blame this one on California’s all absentee voting system…

The Dems on the Hill for months held congressional hearings of Project25, and the voters went to the polls and voted to get punched in the face.

The plan was for idiots to not vote away the fundamental rights of every citizen in this country, and folks failed the assignment.

Voters' fault.

The 14th Street Busway has been a smashing success: faster commutes, fewer crashes, calmer streets.

So why is Eric Adams blocking a similar plan for 34th Street?
