I also recommend Byung Chul Han (who writes in German). If you haven't read Psychopolitics yet). I think Han gave me the sort of post-Foucaultian framing I needed.

I can't a read a lick of German despite living 12km from the border. I wish I could. I have read bits of Foucault in Danish though and it seems to be more direct than the English translations. Baudrillard is tough as well though probably more intuitive for me personally.

I understand. And you are not the only one. It's probably some of the most difficult modern writing to grasp. I found his lectures much easier to read than his books. And the 13/13 Lecture series was really helpful when I was similarly struggling.

Yes this is really quite good. Along with Han's Psychopolitics. I think both make solid effort that extends Foucault into the contemporary moment.

I've read almost everything. And I try to reread a little bit regularly on a consistent basis. At times I found that daily reading was the best way to go. I suppose one has to sort of live with his work. Or rather, one cannot escape his work once you grasp it.
