Happy Raccoon Appreciation Day! Our local district's mascot is Kevy the raccoon. I created him 15 years ago. He is based off Maine's retired anti-litter mascot, TidyCoon, who predates the US Forest Service's Woodsy the Owl by seven years. KeVy has appeared on many event patches and other things.

Meanwhile, in Seattle, the furry party bus comes off the highway.

I've done Chinook Pass a couple of times, though I've not yet been to Yakima Canyon. I've been wanting to for a long time, but it's a already a plenty long ride getting over to that side of the mountains and back. Maybe next summer I'll finally manage it!

I just go out exploring. Often I'll look at satellite images on Google Earth to get ideas on where to go, and on this day I was exploring around FSR-7300. Plenty of forest road out that way, with lots of campsites, which I went out there to scout out for future use. maps.app.goo.gl/ncXQy9fS4iQb...

Oh, I have that book! I was actually just looking for it pretty recently, within the last week I think. Somewhere people were discussing fursuiting resources and I wanted to show what I used. But I couldn't find it. It's probably in a box somewhere under a bunch of other boxes.

Just got back from Furvana, a nice little convention out in middle of nowhere. Saw 10 people I know, which is a lot these days, even for big conventions. One of whom I ran into I haven't seen in probably over 20 years, and I didn't even know was still around.
