it's occurred to me that this state might be because this afternoon i downed a pint of Dr Pepper and then, immediately, a black coffee, and then had the shakes until evening. I'm too old for that much caffeine these days.

can't sleep because my brain is just shouting CREATE CREATE at me. create what precisely? it doesn't know it doesn't care but it demands an offering of creation and I cannot provide one!

possibly! I feel like I'm still weighing up if the idea behind it is worth saving.

I should just shove it in a rejects folder with the other abandoned wretches and leave it until I think of a decent way to rework it because atm it's meaning I don't work on other projects because I just really want to make this one work! but can't!

I've been working on this short story for like six months and keep stalling, at what point do I just give up? I love the premise but I just keep writing around the point and it's going absolutely nowhere
