I should have done a test model sooner but here’s a comparison shot of two models at the “tabletop ready” stage and the finished stage. I did apply flesh wash to everything last night and it really brings all the colors together.

I only need the scifi variants for the orcs and humans. I'm struggling with how to represent the human cyborg drones without feeling too much like borg meets ironman. Narratively the scifi age takes place when an AI ruler dies after believing itself to be a god.

I'm designing the Scifi version of my orcs again! Lore wise the more monstrous of the Orishkar change the least between the time periods so I just need to design their outfits across the ages. I'm still concepting the dwarves, elves, and humans of my setting but for first few projects 1/2

4 more hours of hard work, this could have been done a lot faster but I like to listen to podcasts and advice channels on youtube so scrolling slows me down.

Half hour of dry brushing Monster Brown and 2ish hours of getting Banshee Brown on all the bones. The Uthuk Y’llan are your standard demon worshipping cannibal barbarians so there is a lot of bones. Next is the stone grey skin and the demons red carapaces.

Built my necromunda hive secundus box finally and I found some of my old hive scum that looked like they needed a cult to join. I really hated building those van saar but the details are incredible.

Untextured assets never look good, but I finished all the weapons for my scifi setting. I don't have the hardware for full videogame development yet; however, I do have my miniatures agnostic tabletop game that's going into playtesting this month! Now to finish the drones that actually use these.

Thank you, in miniature painting they call in the three feet rule and I realized the same applies with player perspective in videogames.

I feel insane designing weapons for my game; I have to keep reminding myself that you will never get close so close to see ultra small details and they need to be readable from a distance.

Hand of the Magus is off to a good start, the Goliath Rockgrinder was the only tricky part since I already had some acolytes kitbashed. I’m not changing the aberrants like I wanted to since the heads would not work as intended. The neophytes are next and they’ll be completely new!

Finally starting my dream project from ten years ago, my GSC/Renegade guard becoming a reality! I found the remnants that I hadn’t sold off during my hobby purge of 2023 and to keep the scope to a reasonable extent I’m only building the teo Combat Patrols.

Used MSpaint to plan out the next few projects, three combat patrols and kill teams for all of my old space marine chapters as well as the Kindred of the Abyss that I'll use as imperial navy breachers and Blooded.

Built more minis today, all warhammer 40k! Rebuilt my first kitbashes with parts from my bits box and most of the tyranids combat patrol that I unfortunately lost the bases to.

Went through my bits box to organize my custom GSC army and I found all the remaining bits from my first space marine army; They were a kitbashed mess of Blood Angel and Space Wolves parts but I loved them.

Getting some more minis built, space marines, kill teams kroot farstalker kinband, and warhammer underworlds spitewood!
