Mine does the same but rarely looks passable let alone good despite my best efforts. I must make an appointment now I think of it.

Bless you I think my son will probably take it but he will have to convince his partner. They already have one ginormous television. πŸ“Ί

I’d be delighted if my hair looked this good.

I mostly escaped hot flushes but yours sound volcanic. Awful what we have to put up with. Good luck with the remedies and sweet dreams. 😴

Ugh. You end up sleeping with one leg in top of the bedcovers Good luck with the remedies. Any recommendations gratefully received πŸ₯±

Oh that’s the absolute worst. You have my sympathies perhaps we should try gummies!

No. It’s on my to do list. Flipping thing.

Yes you’d have to be exhausted 😩
I don’t think I have slept nine hours through since I was a child. I sometimes manage a solid block of six hours then a little additional snooze after much tossing and turning.

Thank you! ☺️

Glad it’s not just me.

Exactly the same here and I probably woke up several times in the night. I so envy people who sleep well. 😴

Finished watching The Fall of The House of Usher about two years after everyone else. I thought it was terrific, especially Carla Gugino who played Verna. Took me a couple of episodes to recognise Mark Hamill.

Me neither. I’d love to go to bed at 10pm and wake up, perfectly refreshed, at 7am but it’s not happened in decades.

Some health expert on FB saying we should aim for nine hours sleep. I’d need a general anaesthetic to achieve that.

You’d need a lottery win to buy there but you can treat yourself to a holiday 🌴

Yes! Never been to Palm Springs but it seems rather tainted now.

My daughter scored four goals at her lacrosse match and her team won πŸ†
My husband has taken a fancy to living in Regents Park but we are about Β£30m short. Not sure how Peter Mandelson afforded it πŸ€”

I’m in beautiful Regents Park to watch my daughter’s last lacrosse match for her university.

Went into Boots where the assistants have been replaced with self check outs. My scanner flagged up a problem and man just put in his staff code in without engaging with me at all. I could have had a handbag stuffed with stolen items for all he knew. It’s a shame everything is now so impersonal.

I might have a little nap this afternoon 😴 xx

That’s exactly what I should do. We don’t have a landline anymore.

I’m sorry about your aunt. She obviously had a sense of humour. The smell is awful.

My sister-in-law in Dubai messaged me at 4am about our mother-in-law. I never put my phone on silent because a random person may need to contact me about my parents or one of my kids. . So I’ve been awake since 4am. No chance of nodding back off. I’m not in the best mood.

Oh how lovely! Thanks for the photo. I look forward to reading the book.

Tower Hamlets council (where my m-I-l is) actually seem to be very good for this Much better than Kent where I live and my parents.
