Sigh. We tried to warn them.

That's part of why I'm keeping my accounts open. That and being silent isn't a useful protest. Instead I'm only accessing my accounts through ad blockers and other filters. I'm also not interacting with ads or suggested content.

We'll, I've done it. I've deleted all Meta apps from my phone. I'll only be entertaining with those sites through web browsers.

I just racked my elderberry mead into a 5 gallon rum barrel for aging. It was 12.8% abv before filling the barrel, but I had to top off with water, so it's probably just over 10% now. Now to wait a year and see how this experiment turns out.

I feel the same way. I don't want to hear what a bunch of talking heads and celebrities say. I just want to know what my friends are up to. I want something like Facebook started out as. Is MySpace still a thing?
