Extra! Extra! Read all about it! This abolitionist serial (from The Christian Reformer) was recently discovered in the stacks during an inventory and barcoding project and published by a Boston area author named Charles Stearns.

As Womenβs History Month wraps up, we honor Katie Cannon, former WSRP fellow at HDS and pioneering American theologian. Author of "Katieβs Canon", she explored the intersections of race, gender, and Black liberation ethics. Included is a photo of Cannon with Preston Williams during her time at HDS.

The illustrations for this 1700 collection of writings by Christian mystic, Jacob BΓΆhme, do not disappoint. In addition to the striking, full page eye, we have an otherworldly garden with flowers, a heart nailed to a cross, and a swarm of bees. A #MysticMonday.
