3. Run a full campaign of The Between. Love the concept but I’ve taken a few runs at this one and I honestly found it hard to MC and make it land at the table. Time to skill up I guess!

2. Run or play in a campaign of Apocalypse World 3e. Been watching Fallout and the Last of Us, and I need more of that prestige apocalypse drama in my life.

1. Run a campaign of the new Warhammer The Old World RPG. Warhammer needed a modern ruleset and approach, and TOW seems to deliver it. On paper, looks like it takes more inspiration from Blades in the Dark than its trad ancestors. Can’t wait to find out how it runs in practice.

TTRPG New Year’s resolutions! Had lots of great games in 2025. Of the many highlights, this included: running a fabulous and groovy crew in the Blades in 68 playtest, and getting stuck into a full-on Impossible Landscapes campaign in Delta Green. Goals for next year:

Petition: Do not introduce Digital ID cards We demand that the UK Government immediately commits to not introducing a digital ID cards. There are reports that this is being looked at.

This petition gained a million signatures yesterday. If we can keep up that growth it will terrify people at the Labour conference.

It seems pretty indulgent or naive to think that this is just political strategy, even if it’s an ineffective or unpleasant one. All the evidence suggests that these Labour politicians genuinely are horrible bigots. They really believe this stuff. They really, honestly do hate us.

Neither Legolas nor Aslan feature in the book as the cover suggests. Not sure how any cover could convey how wild the story is though!

Google is at the stage where its AI is suggesting weight conversions from US to Imperial that are off by a factor of three. I nearly made a lot more waffles than I was expecting.

Andor is amazing of course, but particularly enjoying that I cycle past Coruscant and Ghorman on my way to work every day. You kind of feel like, wow I was just on that alien planet earlier!
