Every time I see monitors sharing information on upcoming massive strikes, I lose all energy and motivation to do anything at all. Like, what’s the point? They will make my home city unlivable. We’re still on emergency blackouts since the last big attack. It’s −17 °C at night.

Just found out that the energy worker who tragically died while restoring the electricity supply in Kyiv was my aunt’s cousin, they were very close. Not a blood relative of mine, and the last time I saw him was nearly 20 years ago, but I’m still in complete shock. ☹️

Basically, I couldn’t stay awake anymore, so I went to sleep. Woke up to another massive attack - they decided not to wait a few days and destroy what’s left of our energy infrastructure while it’s still extremely cold. Electricity is gone again.
