On 9 Feb Terry Ransome talked about “Filton in Space - 65 years & counting” -an interesting talk about the development of space exploration, particularly where it was connected to Bristol. Terry had worked as an electrical engineer in the aerospace industry for 30 yrs. #SoroptimistBristol #Filton

On the cold, windy and grey morning of Saturday 24th January, a group of four #SoroptimistBristol members volunteered with PhysioNet at their new south west depot in Cambridge near Slimbridge (Glos). We helped load a shipping container with 1168 refurbished mobility equipment destined for Fiji.

#SoroptimistBristol observes UNiTE’s #OrangeTheWorld, a global campaign aimed at raising awareness about #genderbasedviolence and #womensrights.
On the 25th of each month, we encourage members to wear orange as a symbol of hope and a brighter future for women & girls.
