Russian state media are today alleging that a Bellingcat reporter was involved in an attempt to hijack a Russian fighter plane.

We would like to make clear that Bellingcat had absolutely no involvement in the alleged activities and the accusations towards us are entirely false.

Bellingcat has been named an undesirable organisation in Russia because of our reporting on the country dating back to the downing of MH17 in 2014 by Russian-backed forces.

We will continue to report accurately on Russia and will not be intimidated by disinformation and false accusations.

Fox news is heads and shoulders above other media organizations for the damage its done. It has stoked fear of the "other" for decades. Fear is a strong motivator. Fox is a scourge. Every employee should be ostracized by their friends and family and all of polite society.

There's a significant % of damage that cannot be undone by removing tariffs. Trading partners are realigning. Foreign businesses don't see the US as a good faith stakeholder. It's difficult to do business planning when you have no idea if from one month to another if tariffs will be reinstated
