I don't sleep well and worry about my GenZ & young Millennial kids constantly. I HATE going to work because I know my taxes are going to pay for atrocities. I used to look forward to working each day. I loved being an interior designer, now I dread my days.. I feel heartbroken.

And we need to normalize taking people at their word when they say something like this. Offer support, or help with some of the things on their plate, rather than getting upset that they were not currently in a position to take on more, or help with your own thing.
