Thanks for your great work this year, Varun. Your writing has been a bright spot for a Wizards fan (me) who has to admit that some of the games were pretty hard to watch this year. But there have also been some moments where I feel great about all of these young players and their amazing potential.

I’m not going to deny they are a bad team right now, but they have a lot of young talented players who might surprise you on a given night. Give them a chance. And even if the game you see isn’t Cleveland-OKC caliber, it’s just still a lot of fun to be at an NBA game.

Thanks for this update. And nice use of the word “putrid” in your article today. I am a Wizards fan, but, come on, it accurately describes their play over the past few games.
