Sabah Choudrey is a trans activist, writer, and youth worker whose work has made a lasting impact on LGBTQIA+ communities in the UK. While studying in Brighton, Sabah co-founded Trans Pride Brighton in 2013, the UK’s first trans pride event. Their TEDx talk "Brown, Trans, Muslim and Proud" and appearance on The Rainbow List in 2015 helped raise visibility for queer South Asians.

Sabah has spent over a decade supporting trans youth, particularly people of colour, through their work at Gendered Intelligence and as co-founder of the Colours Youth Network. They continue to build inclusive spaces through roles with Middlesex Pride and the Inclusive Mosque Initiative. 

Sabah also wrote "Supporting Trans People of Colour" to help others create more inclusive practices.
