When I say I am Queer, I am expressing my perfect solidarity with the Queered. You don't get to gauge whether you find me *in particular*, acceptable or unacceptable.

When you confront me as a Queer person, you don't get to sidestep your anti-trans or anti-ace or anti-woman or anti-gay bias.

My gender and sexuality? are queer. They're roomy. They fluctuate like a tide, and I can tell you with one word that I'm a beautiful miasma of non-cis, non allo-hetero wonder in five letters and LORD that is nice.

Terfs have attempted MANY MANY TIMES to tell the world at large that queer is a bad word. And some of those terfs were the victims of lesbian homophobia in 1984. More just hate trans people, and that is why I will refrain from using it /as your descriptor/ but will NEVER EVER EVER avoid it as mine.

The thing about the word queer is that is was, at one point. used as a slur so a certain generation asking you not to use it makes sense.

However, for me, I like the nebulousness of queer. It's roomy. It doesn't require me to explain gender or sexuality.

Which is precisely why bad actors hate it.

Cohen's sexual misconduct was widely known, and tolerated, in the industry. He sent defamation threats to those who talked about it. Massie's reaction was not to be interested in the evidence - but to be furious at me for exposing it. That's how much Massie cares about women.

To understand how much Alex Massie actually cares about women's safety: when I called out his transphobe-in-arms Nick Cohen for multiple acts of sexual misconduct against cis women, which eventually got him sacked, Massie went berserk at me.
