Today is the first one in two weeks that I will have a day just in the house, seeing no one. Honestly, it's needed at times.

For my birthday earlier this month my Mum got me some $s and €s, as I travel a lot. I thought it was lovely until I realised the next place I'm off to in Europe is Spain...to go see her. She just wants me to get the drinks in.

So now I need a European trip in January please.

I'm home after leaving at 630am and very tired. Had a bit of a wobble when things were just LOUD (turns out a family of 4 at Christmas is more noisy than a lad on his own) but I've had a fab Christmas. Hope you all have too! 🎄💜

Last year me and my nephew started a new Christmas tradition of sneaking off upstairs with a bunch of chocolates to watch Doctor Who. Well, it didn't last long as he's sacked me off for his new Switch.

My sister has inherited a lot of the festive hand me downs from when we were kids, but my favourite is the loo seat / Christmas paper combo. The big man will put me on the Naughty list next year for what I'm going to do to him

In 2025 I'm becoming a gamer guy, so long as it came out ages ago. These will fit in nicely with the copy of Cyberpunk I got 3/4 years ago but still haven't played

Christ that was a bad drive, I left work with 200miles range but the storm killed that. Even had to stop 5 miles from the venue to top up a bit.

Today is the 3rd anniversary of my Dad passing, and I've come out of work with a bigger smile on my face than I expected.

I realised unintentionally that I'd spent the day just like him - singing along badly to the radio and telling awful jokes to everyone. He'd have loved that.
