I still have yet to finish this, but enjoy 2/4 parts of my eye refs. Next up is: Penelope, Athena, Aphrodite, Hera, Circe, & Calypso. If anyone wants to guess the eye colors I got picked out, feel free to guess. I’m genuinely am enjoying this & I get to plan out more designs fore later

Haven’t posted in a hot minute. Anyway, been in a bit of a drawing funk so I will be making eye art for the named EPIC characters. That totals up to about 22, not including: variants, monsters, & the winions. May increase to 26 if I add in my other 4 ocs, but all I give is Phoenix for now

I need to research and note down things for the satyrs and nymphs so I can get the others done later. Anyway, I’m done yapping and now should get onto writing again

Mostly looking up things for 3 different ocs: Atlas (Half satyr), Leander (Hesperide Nymph), & Thyme (Lampad/Nereid/Aurae Nymph- created by the big 3)

The other two aren’t any easier. The only one considered “easy” is Phoenix since he’d a demigod and has two animals to reference +

I may or may not reuse some of the stuff I’m typing for my rendition of the EPIC universe for my own canon & lore. Like how Satyrs are surprisingly more horse-like while Panes are closer to the stereotypical satyr. I love looking things up for research for design ideas (context in the replies)

So, reusing the name Thymbraeus for an EPIC/Greek Myth oc. Thinking of making him an artificial nymph that was created by the 3 brothers (Hades/Poseidon/Zeus). I only know for nymphs in the EPIC fandom, they are an element + one creature. I got 6 (3 each) to work with now...

His name is Pyrometios. It just flows a lot better than Pythanesis. I should redraw him… maybe update his character as well. Definitely keeping the phoenix motifs though

Mostly have about all the info I need for potential reference sheets to draw up. May just focus on Hades, Poseidon, Zeus, and Ody. Maybe also my main OC for the EPIC fandom named Phoenix. We’ll see.

Oh- as a side note: Phoenix is in a hinge poly with Ody and Penelope. Curious? I will yap about it

Though I might not do all of them unless I ready want to do dem for some are. I did include deities that are not at all in the musical because I like them.

Until I am able to do animatics, I’m probably not gonna do most of them in all honesty. I’ll just do the ones I like/have ideas for

~12 canon mortals (including Tiresias)
~5 monsters/creatures
Totaling up to about 44 designs. And- well- at least 3 are technically done (big 3 brothers), and 1 in the works. So that’s about 41 if we’re just talking about chibis.

2 1/2 (front and back) pages in five star ring notebook filled with basic info about Greek gods (Animals, Colors, Plants & Symbols) just to only use some of that info for EPIC designs. Not to mention that I wanna draw my OCs as well. And the designs for the mortal characters in EPIC

the EPIC fandom.

-Ody & Athena had, never will be since Ody doesn’t particularly need them anymore after the confrontation with Athena in I Can’t Help but Wonder. Though, the eye that showed their aid is now red/blue tinted. Thinking about doing partial heterochromia, but I’ll figure it out another time

-in 600 Strike was more of a test to see if Ody would be worthy of his aid, & he was. This was Ares’ aid for Athena after the events of God Games. It isn’t until Hold Them Down that these two are at least somewhat on the same page. Even then, it’s not long enough to really have a relationship like+

-out the rest of his days in Ithaca with his wife & son.
Telemachus still has Athena as his only mentor. This does not change. Ares doesn’t really care since his main focus is keeping an eye on Penelope & the suitors when he’s not giving some minor aid to Ody.
Ares doesn’t like Ody. But helping him+

-the innocent. IYKYK. But Ody doesn’t get aid until the beginning of 600 Strike. Just enough adrenaline to keep Ody from drowning. The trident stabbing is all him. There is a slight boost in the song Odysseus, but mostly for minor aid. Once he’s done slaughtering suitors, Ares & Athena let him live+

Just had an idea for an AU. Dual/Twin Mentors:
So, we all know that Ody is mentored by Athena. But what if he asked Ares for guidance too at some points?
It’s just that Ares is very disapproving of Ody’s actions until Love in Paradise. Ares may be violent warfare, but he’s well known for protecting+
