I think they’ve all always known more. But they truly believe the rules don’t apply to them. They never act on morality or ethics. This is all about saving face. And yes, any of us who have worked in the public service know there is no such thing as “it can’t be done”

The most insanely frustrating thing about the #ClimateCrisis is how the breakthrough we so clearly need isn’t technological. It’s just a collective willingness, a determination even, to change in ways that would clearly be SO MUCH BETTER than the clear and obvious consequences of NOT changing.

NO essential services should be privatised.
It has been proven that privatisation, deregulation, and outsourcing of public services fails to provide economic or social returns to Australians.
It just enriches a few, and entrenches millions.

I think there’s a huge difference between interviewing a pollie and accepting a piece written by them. Your values/ethics lie in incisive questions and searching for truth- with all its layers. Apply them to everyone regardless of their profession, status and influence
