We got some snacks for Eek and the caseworkers and us got to talking.

A caseworker from the RDF came today and did a quick walkthrough of the house. They stayed for a while and we talked about how we will have to come by once a week to check up on the kid and some other things. We also signed the last of the paper work. It's finally time!

Room is ready! They are coming tomorrow!!!!! We are sooooo excited!!

The agency sent some of their drawings to hang up to make the room/house feel more like theirs. And we have a few toys we ordered that should be arriving soon

Went to the craft store and got some construction paper and crayons and the book shelf is done!

Spooks is hanging all the posters and we even found these alphabet ones on line and printed them out and the wrap around the room

Went to the print shop and got some posters printed.

Ok so we know some things the kid likes. They really like books and being read too. And coloring is also a fave.

We might have gone overboard with buying books though lol

Home from vacation and now the work sets in. We are happy to announce we are adopting soon!

We have been in touch with the Recently Deceased foundation and have been meaning with some of the kids.

We are so thankful that the foundation has picked us to take care of one of the kids!
