Reverse Bang did not have any art sign up. That is why the process halted, because art signup was a necessary thing to move forward.

Maybe we will try again in the future. 💜

All fics must be original and never published before. All works must be complete when posted. Minimum wordcount is 5,000 words. You are encouraged to follow the general theme or vibe of the Do Wants your art claim. You are required to respect the Do Not Wants of your art claim. You are allowed to claim only one work during the “first choice” claiming period. You can claim more than one art, in the “general” claiming period. You will be asked to post your story along with your artist, but unlike the art, your work will remain anonymous for 7 days before reveals. You are required not to disclose the person you’re collaborating with.

Reverse Bang: WRITERS GUIDELINES

ELIGIBLE ART for submission is: traditional art, digital art, animated gifs, animated videos, video edits, comics, sketches that have somewhat recognisable characters, Jikook. Moodboards and manips are not allowed. You can submit up to 5 works. You need to provide us a priority list in case of multiple sign ups. If your art is not claimed, you can withdraw it from the fest and post it independently.

Reverse Bang: ARTISTS GUIDELINES

Participants must be over 18 years old. AI, plagiarism, CP, snuff are not allowed. Please check our carrd for artists and writers guidelines. All art must be original and never published before. The art has to be at least 50% done and have somewhat recognisabile characters, Jikook. All art is encouraged to have Do Wants. All art must contain Do Not Wants. Writers can write anything outside of the artist’ do not wants. Writers can only claim one art until the end of the “first choice” claiming period. In the “general” claiming period, writers will be able to claim multiple artworks. Final works must be complete. Minimum wordcount: 5,000 words.

From January 29 to February 23: ART SUBMISSION OPEN, 50% of completed art From February 24 to March 10: CLAIMING: FIRST CHOICES, one claim per writer From March 11 to June 23: GENERAL CLAIMING PERIOD, multiple claims per writer On April 7: CHECK IN 1 On June 23: CLAIMING CLOSED On June 25: CHECK IN 2 On July 21: FINAL WORKS DUE, complete works On July 26: POSTING STARTS To Be Defined: AUTHOR REVEALS

Reverse Bang: SCHEDULE

A reverse bang is a collaborative event between artists and writers. Artists submit entries which then go to claims. Writers will then claim one art, for which they will create an accompanying story. The aim of the fest is to foster collaboration between writers and artists! The final pairs of works – art and its respective story – will be posted together. Each pair should not disclose who they are collaborating with.
