Havsrå are Swedish mermaids very similar to yesterday's Havfolk. The "rå" portion of the name means ruler & refers to spirits who rule/ control over different parts of nature. They're female, live in the sea & probably have fishtails.

Hati is the son of Fenrir & a giantess of the Ironwood & the grandson of the god Loki & the jotunn Angrboda. He is destined to swallow the Moon during Ragnarok while his brother Sköll consumes the sun.

They also appear on tomb art, suggesting an association with death. Harpies are also very similar to the Alkonost, woman-headed birds in East Slavic folklore.

The rocks above the Ohře river named Hans-Heiling-Felsen in German and Svatošské Skály in Czech are said to be the ruins of Hans' great city. Alternatively, the rock formation is a petrified wedding party. An opera, Hans Heiling, was inspired by the myths.
