It’s been devalued for the past few seasons now. Most “bigger clubs” play their reserves, or at least a mixture of both, as they don’t see it as a premier competition anymore.

Day 2 was windy, again, and eased by the Pet Shop Boys Greatest Hits. Lovely!

So, a sad day - and if I’m honest I’m a little disappointed that we didn’t seem to actually show up - but we’ve had a brilliant season.

So, Torquays season is over following semi final defeat in the playoffs.
Bittersweet really.
We nearly didn’t exist last season and to have lost in the playoffs, whilst sad, is something I’d have taken at the start of the season.

Wotton and his back room team have done a brilliant job getting us

I have never encountered so many different emotions as I did at Hemel yesterday.
The team couldn’t have done more than was asked of them and some of them were dead on their feet at the end.
Cooke getting a hattrick, and us scoring 4 should (and is) have been cause for celebration, yet I still left
