Update: SSL certificates that secure the https connection do not currently cover multiple level subdomains ex: X.Y.Furry.camp. Problem has been determined and a solution being worked on. The preference is to continue to allow multilevel subdomains.

"https://rgb.derg.furry.camp" fails.

Strange. When entering rgb.derg.furry.camp directly in an address bar it works. But rgb.derg.furry.camp fails with an SSL error. I'll look into that.

If you mean mentioning users @rgb.derg.furry.camp should work without issues. And the full URL rgb.derg.furry.camp should link as well. It's possible DNS hasn't populated completely yet or the redirect process is hanging at some point. I'll look into it, but I believe it should resolve with time.

In the official bsky.app site/app:

b. Type new handle in the box.
c. Tap “Verify DNS Record”

d. Tap “Update to…” to save the change.

The following steps are only to be completed after receiving a reply to your post from step 2️⃣. The reply will contain all necessary information to complete the process. This information is provided here as a reference for troubleshooting.

3️⃣ Wait For A Reply

After making your post it will be processed. Once processed you will receive a reply letting you know the status of your request.

If approved and processed, step 4 will be in the reply.
If there’s an issue with the handle you chose, it will be explained in the reply.

2️⃣ Post Your Request

Write a new post @furry.camp that restricts replies to mentioned users only.

Your post should look like this:
@furry.camp #fcrename @/mynewname.furry.camp

It mentions @furry.camp, contains the command #fcrename, and has the name you want to change your handle to.
