Agreed. He’s obvs a really decent bloke and a very good manager but has been let down by recruitment (PSR notwithstanding) and is struggling to make it work. Problem is I’m not seeing anyone out there who could turn this squad into anything but relegation candidates (and that isn’t a given either)

Whilst it’s been a disappointing window and the omens aren’t great for the season I do feel a ton of sympathy for the recruitment team. We have a budget we can’t break and more importantly, good players just aren’t keen on potential relegation without an exit clause. And we all know how they end!

Surely the ‘correction’ has to come. I know we’ve been saying it for years but the imbalance between the haves, ‘have somes’ and have nots is beyond mad.

There’s never a win. As you say, always a problem with some of our fan base. Too expensive. Too cheap. Over the hill. Lacking experience. Squad player. Squad depth needed. One for the future. Past it. The list goes on.

One of the MOST memorable games I’ve witnessed at ER. I’m rubbish at remembering individual games but will always remember this one.

This place is so much more relaxed than the other plaXe. The pile ins/algorithm led responses (ditto Josey comment re Russian and Chinese bots …fact not conspiracy theory) drive some serious negativity which crosses border into abuse and a lot of the ‘isms’.

It’s an absolutely magnificent museum. The moment you walk through the door….there it is. Unbelievable. Genuinely breathtaking.
