I also liked Dawn of Dreams, believe it or not.

The writing is occasionally weaker, but the expanded gameplay and the variety of fighting styles depending on what character you're using (and with what equipment) was very satisfying.

I have to imagine those words are kryptonite to shareholders, who are ultimately the real target audience for any such pitch.

All four main games have a pretty distinct identity and each is worth playing in its own right.

I'd been pining for a franchise revival for quite a while, and am now very excited for the upcoming legacy sequel. It certainly doesn't seem to have lost its zany edge!
