We analyse the self-similar temporal turbulent BL, derive explicit forcing laws, and prove skin-friction bounds. Using Xcompact3d, we reach Reθ=2,000 (DNS) & 8,300 (ILES) in excellent agreement with spatial BLs, at modest cost.
