the problem is that there's no imperative for PBMs, insurance, or pharmacies to ensure pts are taken care of. If insurance wants to change a covered med, it should be their responsibility to actively reach out and ensure pts have access to a covered alternative. instead it is just "reject, goodbye"

Awesome study. First RCT I know of specifically focused on hospitalized people with OUD and infectious diseases. XR-bupe no better than standard MOUD for OUD and ID outcomes.
