Day 11: Comfort Game

My ultimate comfort game will always be Animal Crossing. A game where all my neighbors are cute animals and the object of the game is to just live your best life with them? 10/10 comfort.

Day 10: Underrated Game

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. I have NEVER played a game quite like this one. The story is dark, visuals are captivating. It immerses you into Senua’s world and struggle with psychosis which felt ground breaking but also spooky and chilling as hell.

I missed several days of this so I’m going to spam post and catch up 🙃

Day 9: Favorite Antagonist

It should go without saying for me but my favorite Antagonist has to be Ganon from LoZ series, especially in ToTK. His boss fight was INCREDIBLE. I only cried once.

Was craving Publix potato wedges but forgot that today was the superb owl and the entire deli/sandwich/hot foods area was like a stampede of wildebeest. Needless to say, I did not get potato wedges.

The music in #FF7Remake and #FF7Rebirth is some of the BEST video game music I’ve ever heard 😍 What is your favorite theme music? My favorite is the Gongaga region theme music. But honorable mention goes to the theme music that plays during a mission that involves chasing a dog 😂

Day 8: Favorite Protagonist

As if it’s not obvious, my favorite protagonist of all time is always going to be Link from the Legend of Zelda series

Day 7: Favorite Multi-player or MMO

Tbh I’ve never gotten into MMOs. I dabbled with WoW when I was younger but it’s never been my thing. For multiplayer, it would have to be Overwatch. I don’t play much anymore since 2 came out but put a TON of hours in the first one.

Day 6: Best World Building

I LOVE the world in Mass Effect. I always thought the Citadel had the coolest design and felt pretty realistic to how life in space might be like.

It’s definitely worth the replay! But yeah, he threw me off replaying it as an adult lol I didn’t pick up on it as a kid but he has that shameless lecher trope that you see in animes sometimes, especially in the 2nd half of the game. I don’t think it would be well received in this day and age

I did! It’s also on Switch and I’m replaying it there currently. Still such a fun game. Somehow when I played it as a kid, I never realized how perverted Issun is 😅

Day 5: Game That Deserves A Remake

One of my fav games I always wanted a remake of is Okami, so naturally I’m ECSTATIC they teased a sequel to come out soon! Otherwise, while LoZ: OOT is one of my all time fav games, if it was remade in ToTK graphics, I would CRY 😭

Everyday I read the news and think, “this is the most mad/frustrated/terrified/distraught/exhausted I’ve ever felt.” But then another day comes and I get proven wrong.

Long story short, guess who will be spending Valentine’s Day being a guinea pig for some new cleaning machine at my dentist 🥴 from what I’ve been told, it entails a tiny camera that will go inside my gums to make the deep cleaning more precise. Anyway, thanks insurance for nothing.

Dental assistant let me know bc of the waiting period, it would cost $1350 for a deep cleaning. Coincidentally they just got a new machine that they need to train the staff on and need a patient to volunteer as a guinea pig for the training. The volunteer gets a procedure done during it…for free pt3

Finally went back to the dentist for a cleaning. I have periodontal disease and previously was getting cleanings every 3 months but bc it’s been over 6, I now need a deep cleaning. My new ins has a 1 year waiting period for “procedures”. Guess what type of cleaning is considered a “procedure” 🙃(pt2)

Story time:
I stopped seeing my dentist 6 months ago bc I got a new job, ins changed and was no longer in network. I shopped around to other dentists in network but didn’t like them and decided to purchase a secondary plan with an ins that was in network so I could go back to my old dentist. (Pt 1)

Day 4: Currently Playing

I’m currently playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and thoroughly enjoying it ☺️ loving the nostalgia and little Easter eggs they planted for the fans and anything new added is implemented perfectly! Definitely a love letter to the fans and original FF7.

Day 3: Hardest Boss Fight

There are plenty of boss fights I consider hard but the one that stands out the most for me and brings back many memories of rage quitting and crying is Xaldin from Kingdom Hearts 2 🥲

Thank you for those, they were a good read. I decided to just move on. This happened once before and right when I decided I gave up,they started reaching out again and things went back to normal but I don’t want to keep getting my feelings hurt on this emotional rollercoaster so it’s time to get off

If you need me, I will be spending another day fully immersed in a game so I can pretend the hellscape that we live in does not exist

I know friendships aren’t meant to last forever. But this was one of those “lifer” ones, ya know? I can’t picture not having them in my life. But there’s only so much reaching out I can do with zero reciprocation and still maintain my self worth.

What do you do when one of your closest friends stops putting time into your friendship? What’s the best course of action? Should I let them know I miss them? But what’s the point when they don’t respond to anything. They’re still alive and well on social media. Do I give up and cut my losses?

Same, I’m emotionally exhausted 😞
