it's unreliable af, but my skills in most languages are far worse than unreliable and i need to be able to get the general gist of texts in a lot of languages i don't speak. but if i need a reliable translation i hire a human translator and pay them so generously they can afford to do a proper job.

a couple of months ago i deactivated grammarly on my work laptop. mostly because it was annoying and not really useful, but also it kept getting more intrusive and AI-ified to the point where it was just pissing me off all the time.
