I am begging the national media to start taking this seriously.

Stop buying the claims that the framing of "temporary" or "pause."

They are altering the review processes of federally funded scientific research from merit-based peer review processes to political screening by ideologues.

This week marks my last week on surgery!!! Have my surgery shelf exam on Friday morning, then have to pack for my month-long, out of state EMERGENCY MEDICINE ROTATION!!!! Truly so excited for next month!! 🚨🏥🚑

Unbelievably honored to be selected as my med school’s “Student Doctor of the Year” (which I found out shortly after being scrubbed in to my 1st ortho surgery)

I am beyond grateful for my mentors, preceptors, family, & friends. Also grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had in school so far ✨🩺🤍

My hope is that these stories not only remind physicians, medical students, and other healthcare workers of the traumatic toll gun violence takes, but also urge us to consider how we can improve care for victims and survivors 🧡

Day 3 of the murder trial of the man accused of killing Laken Riley continues in Georgia | CNN Jose Antonio Ibarra is accused of killing nursing student Laken Riley while she was jogging on the University of Georgia campus on February 22.

The right has been using the murder of Laken Riley, a Georgia nursing student and runner, as fuel for their racist anti-immigration campaign and I guess they are going to ignore the fact that 87% of women killed in the US knew their killer and over half were in an intimate relationship with them.
