Pulled off the unintentionally best-timed facehugger jumpscare the other day on a cool xenomorph friend. Literally right before, he showed me his xenomorph jacket /and/ Alien shirt. Then he turned the corner and was met with my facehugger friend.

Couldn't be more perfect…

Witnessed a nun receive a piercing while giving a tarot reading in front of a [covered] Beyblade battle arena at a /funeral/ for a rad game experience people flew in from as far as Seattle and Miami to celebrate/mourn.

Attended the opening for Somewhere in Dreams, a gallery of local artists' creations celebrating the delightfully abstract mind of David Lynch. An indescribable entity. Incredible artistic tributes to his dreamlike, nightmarish visions filled the room.

..is 2025 over yet??

For a week I experienced unspoiled joy again, adventuring, surprisingly productive, existing with friends new & old. One of the most illuminating moments was meeting Andy Serkis.

We shared a meaningful conversation, hopeful words refortified my crumbling husk--

Around this time every year I always revisit The Lord of the Rings. Decades of good memories with loved ones & getting lost in Tolkien's story. I'll share a bit about light in the dark this Winter Solstice.

Annecy was truly the light this year for me-& getting to meet Andy Serkis.

Showed up to a smash party with my metal bat, Silencer. Turns out the hosts crafted smashing machines to obliterate all manner of hapless inanimate objects -for us-.

haah I thought you were replying to the original post. Yesss this elder Yautja is glorious. I wont spoil anything but in the movie, visually he reminded me so much of Thranduil from Hobbit and Corlys Velaryon if they fused into a bloodthirsty, menacing alien lord.
