Not everyone in Gaza neither is nor was a member of Hamas. Just like in the mid-1900s when not everyone in Israel was a member of Irgun or Lehi. Hamas deserve what they get, the innocent Gazans don’t, nor did the innocent Israelis in the mid-1900s who mercifully were not .

Sorry Harriet, truly, but my wife’s Aunt is Jewish. We discussed Gaza and her view was Israel’s response was totally disproportionate. Nobody denies Israel the right to defend its people but the response is clearly persecution of a peaceful people. Not the scale of the Nazis, otherwise similar.
