Surely they are all competing to promise the biggest Project 25 alignment, in order to win the approval and future financial / technological / media backing of certain forces.

The audience for this is not UK voters (yet). It's "please choose us as the ones to shithouse into power in 29"

People will scoff at how out of touch they are with voters but this is not about speaking to voters, it’s a big competition to see who can the specific convince people holding the financial and technological tools that they will align the UK with Project 2025.

There is a reason for this which is that culture now collapses the distance between the authentic and the soulless copy to almost nothing; if anything passionate and authentic comes out it is instantly co-opted and ironised until it’s lost all purpose.
